What is dividend?
Money some companies share with their investors.

When a company makes a profit it can keep that money to grow, or pay part of it out to shareholders. The part paid out is the dividend. It is never guaranteed and a company can reduce or stop it.

For instanceA company paying ₹5 per share means 100 shares earns you ₹500 before tax.
