Who makes this, and why you might trust it
You are being asked to take financial information from a website. This page tells you who is behind it, how it is paid for, and what it will never do, so you can judge that properly.
Why this exists
Most people in India who start investing learn from three places: a friend, a tip group, and short videos. All three skip the same thing, which is the reasoning. You are told what to buy and never why, so when the price falls you have no basis for any decision.
The material that does explain reasoning tends to assume you already know the vocabulary. It uses words like valuation, free cash flow and asset allocation without stopping, which quietly excludes exactly the people who need it most.
AlphaVik is an attempt at the unglamorous middle: explain the words, explain the reasoning, and be honest about what nobody knows.
How it is funded
Today, it is not. There is no advertising on this site, no sponsored content, no affiliate links and no referral commissions. When a broker or a fund house is named, it is as an example and no money changes hands.
This matters because it removes a specific conflict. A site funded by broker referrals has a reason to encourage you to open accounts and to trade. A site funded by fund commissions has a reason to prefer regular plans over direct ones. Neither incentive exists here, which is why the lessons can say plainly that most people should buy an index fund and trade less.
A paid product is planned. It would cover portfolio features, not the educational content. The lessons, glossary, FAQ and blog stay free permanently and will not move behind a paywall.
What is published here, and by whom
Everything on this site is written and edited in house. There is no guest posting, no syndicated content and no automatically generated articles published without review.
Every lesson and article carries the date it was last checked and, where it states a tax rate or a regulation, a list of the sources it relied on. How that process works is set out in the editorial policy.
What AlphaVik will never do
- Promise a return, guarantee a price, or describe anything about the future as certain.
- Take payment to feature, recommend or rank a broker, fund or company.
- Publish a view on an investment without the reasoning, the risks and the conditions that would change it.
- Place an order, hold your money, or ask for a credential that would allow either.
- Put the educational content behind a paywall.
