The method

How AlphaVik will reach a view

A conclusion you cannot inspect is just an opinion with confidence attached. This page sets out the method being built, the evidence it uses, and the questions it will not answer.

Not available yet. Investment views, ratings and allocation suggestions are built but switched off. They stay off until the relevant compliance clearance is complete in India. Nothing on this page is available today.

Hold

The reasons you first bought this still hold, but the price has run ahead of them.

  • Why
    • You bought it for low and steady growth. Both are still true today.
    • Nothing has changed inside the business. What changed is the price the market is willing to pay for it.
  • Evidence
    • Profit has grown in each of the last eight quarterly results.
    • The is now above its own five year average, so it is less of a bargain than when you bought.
  • Risks
    • A slowdown in lending would hit profit growth before anything else shows.
    • This is one company. If it is a big part of your , one bad year matters much more.
  • Would change it
Two weak quarters in a row, rising bad loans, or the price falling back near its long run average. Any of those would move this view.
Reviewed after the last quarterly resultsNobody can guarantee future prices

The shape every view is designed to take: a stance, a summary, the reasoning, the evidence, the risks, and the conditions that would change it. Figures shown are invented.

Four steps

The order will matter as much as the steps

Evidence comes before conclusion, and the conclusion never leaves without its risks attached.

  1. Collect verified facts

Company filings, published quarterly results, exchange disclosures and reliable market data. Never a headline on its own, and never an unsourced claim.

  2. Check your original reason

The question is not whether the price moved. It is whether the thing that made this worth owning is still true.

  3. Reach a stated view

One of seven positions, with the strength of the evidence made visible rather than implied by confident language.

  4. Write what would change it

A view without an expiry condition is just an opinion. Every view names the events that would move it.

The scale

Seven positions, and what each one means

A scale exists so that a mild view and a strong one do not have to share the same word.

Sell now
The reasons for owning this have broken, and waiting is likely to cost more.
Sell
The original case no longer holds. Exiting is the reasonable action, without urgency.
Reduce
Still worth owning, but not at this size. Trimming lowers the risk of being wrong.
Watch
Something has changed and the evidence is not yet clear. Do nothing, pay attention.
Hold
The reasons still hold. Adding is not compelling, and selling is not warranted.
Add
The case has strengthened, or the price has improved relative to it.
Buy
A clear case at a price that leaves room to be wrong.

Note what none of these say. None of them promises a price, a return, or a timeframe, because none of those can be known. Order: Sell now, Sell, Reduce, Watch, Hold, Add, Buy.

Evidence

What actually gets checked

All of this is public. AlphaVik has no private information and claims none.

  • 01Published results

Revenue, operating margin, profit and debt, read across several years rather than one quarter.

  • 02Cash against profit

Whether reported profit is turning into actual cash from operations.

  • 03Balance sheet

Debt levels, interest coverage, and contingent liabilities disclosed in the notes.

  • 04Valuation history

How today price compares with the company own long run range, not just with peers.

  • 05Exchange disclosures

Shareholding patterns, promoter pledging, and material event filings.

  • 06Your recorded reason

The specific case you wrote down when you bought, checked against what has changed.

Where the limits are

Being specific about what a method cannot do is more useful than claiming range it does not have.

  • It cannot predict prices. Nothing can. A view is a reading of today evidence, not a forecast.
  • It does not know your full financial life unless you tell it. Emergency savings, debt, insurance and when you need the money all matter more than any single view.
  • It has no private information. Everything it reads is public and available to you too.
  • It cannot judge a company with no history. A recent listing has one offer document rather than years of results.
  • It will decline rather than guess. Where the evidence does not support a position, the honest output is Watch, not a confident number.

Honesty

What AlphaVik will never do

  • Promise a return, guarantee a price, or describe anything about the future as certain.
  • Publish a view without the reasoning, the risks and the conditions that would change it.
  • Generate a Buy or Sell view from a news headline alone.
  • Place an order, move your money, or act on your behalf.
  • Hide a view that turned out wrong.

Common questions

How will AlphaVik decide on a Buy or Sell view?
This capability is not yet available. The designed method runs in a fixed order. It collects verified facts from company filings, published results and market data. It checks those against the reason you recorded for owning the investment. It reaches one of seven stated positions. Then it writes down the specific events that would change that view.
Where will AlphaVik get its information?
From company filings and published quarterly results, exchange disclosures such as shareholding patterns, annual reports, and market data. Every published view names what it relied on, and a view is never generated from a headline alone.
Can AlphaVik predict stock prices?
No, and neither can any person or any other system. Markets are shaped by events that have not happened and decisions millions of people have not yet made. What software can do is read evidence consistently, remember your reasons accurately, and tell you when something has changed.
What will happen when an AlphaVik view is wrong?
It will be stated openly along with what was missed. Every view is published with the conditions that would change it, precisely so that being wrong becomes visible rather than quietly forgotten.
Does AlphaVik place orders for me?
No. AlphaVik never buys or sells anything. You place every order yourself through your own broker.
